    I don't know if the date is correct, I still think it is older than 1890.
    What she said about garnet gold is incorrect, and it looks pretty silvery for garnet gold, which is just as yellow as higher caratages.
    She wrote: "Handmade in “garnet gold” – low-carat gold of about three or four carats"
    Garnet gold is a standard .250, so 6 carats. The Bohemians were more strict in their fineness control than some other Austro-Hungarian regions, so 3-4 carats for garnet gold was simply not accepted.

    This is a Bohemian ca 1900 pendant in 6 carat garnet gold, it is the usual yellow gold colour. The chain is a 9 carat later addition, it is the same colour:
