Modern glass dish - Viking or Scandinavian?

Or other? I thought this might be part of the Viking Finnish Vessel / Finnish Crown line, but apparently I misremembered. I cannot find a match on either the Viking site or in my Viking book. Could it be one of the Scandinavian makers?

I have no idea what to call this pattern to begin to search for a match. Thanks!

Viking had the machinery to make that, open top mold, drop on a gather, spinn the mold, the glass flows outward. They were not alone, others could make it too.

Thanks, Tom - I've always wondered how they made the pieces with the ragged top rims. It sounds dangerous.

Sure. The random notches on the rim would also make it perfect to use as an ashtray.

Hm. It's rather like Solros, which was made by Kosta Boda. Goran Worff. Solros is sunflower, which is what you have there.

Thanks for the tip. I couldn't find any Solros pieces quite like this, but I did come across their Lydia pattern. Lydia is a fairly realistic sunflower. My bowl looks like Solros and Lydia had a baby. I'll keep on searching.

The other thing it reminds me of is an old Tiara pattern called Mystique. I've never found out which pattern Tiara used for their repros. I had a couple of those pieces. We used to refer to them as the "elephant foot" bowls.

That flared petal thing was copied all over. Ravenhead did it in their Flair range, for example.

Wow - I hadn't heard of Ravenhead, but several pieces of the Flair line look like the inspiration for the Viking Finnish line I asked about initially. Do you know if the pattern/technique was their original creation? I'm just curious at this point. Thanks again!
