    I remember pictures of him from my life in Orange,

    The only thing that makes me think not, is I dont know if he had that much hair at that age !!

    It might be helpful to try to determine the date of the photograph. What does the frame look like? What is the size of the photo? Can you unframe it to see if there is anything on the back - notations about subject, or even just the type of photographic paper?

    My first thought was Maharishi Mahesh, too, but he usually wore a white garment that wrapped in the front.
