Chest of drawers

Lucky you. It sounds like you don't need any other piece of furniture (as in the chest-of-drawers above) to "store" things (clothing, photos, books???).

You might want to "think outside the box" as to what could be stored in that chest-of-drawers.

Depending on the size/configurations (wide but shallow or deep but narrow) of your closet(s) it might be that the chest of drawers would fit either at the back of a closet or along one side of a closet and used for additional storage of various items, including "seasonal" clothing and/or other seasonal items.

 

Guesses 1930s-40s art deco waterfall style. No real great value but not a throw away either.
Wait for others to post that are more familiar with this style, if the pulls/handles are bakelite, they can be more valuable than the furniture i hear.

Depending on where you are, condition of veneer and how you plan to sell, will determine what kind of price you will get.

I see this style painted quite a lot in antique malls, sometimes just accent painted & sometimes painted all the way! I kinda like it painted but most posters on here are anti paint! Luddites!

That looks nice. It's one way to restyle vintage factory furniture. I only object when it's solid wood. Wood veneer, especially with damage? Paint away!
