    Hi everyone!
I have this green leather club chair from my uncle, and I remember him saying it was from an old hotel but I'm not sure about the age of it. I'm thinking maybe 1940s..
    Any guesses?
Also are there any Portland natives here who know anything about this company? I've found that it existed until at least 1956 on 2124 N. Williams Ave, but I can't find anything about how long it was in business.
    Thanks in advance!

Looks like a nice comfortable chair.

Sorry, can't help with the company.

Awesome chair and label. So sorry, can't help with the company.

Someone in Portland would love this! Too bad you didn't know the hotel it came out of.

    Looks comfortable. :)

i think it has a mountain of potential. dye it a mahogany or deep burgundy and replace the gray studs with brass. darken down and shine up the feets. might shock you how nice it turns out.

    Agree with this.

However, the sage green against the light lavender wall is very nice. I wouldn't change the color.

you would love my mothers leather living room. if she saw this she would be all over it like stink on cheese. i have never adjusted.
easy money comes from chelsea brown or burgundy with brass. should look good with a black and tan in your hand.

Wow how cool, I wonder who it made that trip with! I bet there's an interesting story there. Thanks so much for the link.
I wish I knew the hotel as well, I think they were either renovating or closing down... He actually got a set of two chairs, the other was an upholstered captains chair in the same leather. Unfortunately I only had room for one at the time...

I absolutely agree about the feet, it's on my project list. As for the leather... I'm a fan of the odd shade of green and the aging! But maybe it's next owner will do something along those lines haha

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

I also think it's from the 1940s, partly based on the look of the label! The chair looks comfy, too.
