    Hi all,
Still cleaning out a drawer and have found this 14K gold pocket watch but no id on who made the watch. Does it matter if there is no maker, just sell as a gold pocket watch? I just thought if the case is gold that the watch would be marked also.
    any information is appreciated
    thanks for looking:)

nice case & I like the thick glass......but as others have said about this type of watch.....the movement is run of the mill.....
14 K , is though..14K.....so pull the movement and try and sell the case for more than scrap weight.........or scrap it for the gold !

    thanks komokwa:)
they don't pay much for scrap here. Only 1 pawn shop and then the usual dealers buying but they are pretty cheap so I'll list it on Ebay and see what happens.

    I think it's a Swiss squirrel mark.

I prefer the squirrel. The gray ones we have are just tree rats with furry tails; the red ones are cute.

Those generally drive performance automobiles on my local roads and pass on the double yellow. That's what I call them anyway, because you can print it.(LOL)
