I'm not totally sure I understand what you mean, but it looks like you took some time trying to decipher that signature.....which I still can't ....others will be along.....I'm sure they might be able to help!!! Interesting scene...looking like they are fleeing somewhere....

Actually i am not looking for advices in order to purchase since it is already mine but i am at home and the painting is in the office so i don't currently have a photo of the back.

 

The genre is "historical painting," jic you don't know.

They could be fleeing from the French revolution. Someone obviously tried to stop them, slashing the painting.

My first thought was Varennes, but I knew Marie Antoinette fled in a coach, not on horseback.
It could be another aristocratic family though.
