Large maybe bamboo basket

    It does look like split bamboo. The hexagonal weave is a technique I associate most with Asian baskets, along with the crossing supports on the base and the legs that run along the outside. But I have not seen that particular hexagonal shape before. My guess would be China or Southeast Asia.
