Spurs Value or Info?

    Hi! I have no idea about spurs at all, and from looking on ebay the price range is jaw dropping. These belonged to a mounted policeman. They are both marked "8". I thought they were nickel, but they are ferrous (magnetic), so I'm guessing stainless steel. They measure approx. 3 1/2" wide x 5" deep. Any info would be appreciated!     I'm seeing a horse shoe and maybe a lasso. Give it a clean and see what you have got then.
