Hello, my mother in law is looking to sell this dining room set but we are not sure of the value. All items are Berkley and gay. Year it was made was the stamp with the Reg. Inscription. It’s a buffet, hutch , dining room table with leaf, 5 regular chairs and 1 Captains chair. Items are located in Hickory Hills, IL if anyone is interested. Just looking to get a fair price as her husband passed recently and she’s moving in with us.

Nice set,but unfortunately mass produced and theres a ton of them out there. This style isnt popular right now, you'd be lucky to get $300-500 for the whole set here in florida.I dont know how it is in your neck of the woods though. Try Craigslist and see if anyone bites.

As suggested, not a lot of value these days. You will probably do better in a suburb of Chicago than Johnny would in FL or even I in downstate IL. The $300-500 seems more like a wholesale price to me as well. If these were mine in a Chicago suburb, I might list them on Craigslist, or facebook marketplace starting a bit high ….. say $12-1500.00 OBO to see if you get any bites. Don't be surprised if people ask you to split these up and low-ball offer. You might split them up if to your advantage to do so (High offer for a single piece). If you don't have to sell right away, sit tight for a decent offer. You can always come down later if you need to. Do touch up the finishes before selling.
