I have a Chinese sauce pitcher with long spout with blue décor. The top diameter is 2", bottom diameter 2", 3 1/2" height. Long snout. There is no lid I am looking for the company, pattern, era and the Chinese dynasty. I found Chinese on the bottom as shown in 5th pic. Thank you for your assistance. Rob

It is a lovely little pitcher, Rob, but I don't recognize anything Chinese about it. The scribble doesn't look Chinese either.
Maybe someone else recognizes the style.

My first thought was Mediterranean European, so Italian makes sense.
Italy has had strong ties with the Middle East for thousands of years, so a bit of cross-contamination isn't unusual. But the shape looks European to me.

Blue and white ceramics originated in Persia, btw, and spread from there to China and Europe. Chinese influences also came to Europe, bringing more blue and white with them. It is a small world.:)

It's the mark of Fratelli Fanciullacci, but I don't know if it really is. We need Walter.
