help needed

hi all new to forum and like others need some help,
have got an old tea set has been in the family for years, never seen anything like it
anywhere will post 2 picks, on the rear it says barratts of staffordshire england,
as you see the colour is very bright yellow with deep red dots, all the pots i have are the same colour with no fading, also has a gold edging round the edge any help on what it is
will be great ie age / worth.

 

I wonder if those red enamel dots were added later? Looks like the 50's but possibly photo of the backstamp might be a better indicator.

So I believe that stamp was used after 1947. Unfortunately this manufacturer doesn't bring that much money. I have not found this exact set but you can look at the sold results on ebay to get an idea. Love the color - would fit nicely with Mid Century.
