    I've scoured the net and have not come across anything that look remotely like this ?

    Has anyone seen these before ?

    Those eyes are kinda freaking me out. I picked them up at an estate sale and I love doing research.

    I'm striking out on these pieces.... They're heavy and are signed...

    thank you in advance..

    Welcome to the forum!! :happy::happy:

    Judging from the white chippy spots they look like chalkware & I would say c.1970 judging by the glaze.

    A photo of the bottom might confirm my suspicions.

    Hi Peggy, I think you're right about the chalkware. But can't find a thing on the signature. The boy's toy seems very detailed and I'm curious why they'd be all one color except for those eyes :) Thanks for the response. I appreciate it.

    Overall glaze likely nothing more than a creative choice. 1970s looks right.

    that mark may be a stylized LT in old fashioned French.

    Anyone else think this might be one of those pieces you can glaze at home, like the home ceramics stuff?
