    Welcome @B82ries .
    Your photo shows mainly fingers.;)
Could you put the ring down on a piece of plain paper and take photos of it, as well as a closeup of the marks, please?
And it helps if you click on 'full image' when you post photos.

I think I can just make it out - 18 carat gold assayed in Glasgow in 1895. So a late Victorian wedding band. I don't see a maker R.H for Glasgow in my reference book, but someone else may have it.

Jackson's book English Goldsmiths and Their Marks has one sometime between 1848-1903 for Robt. Hyslop.

Beautiful ring & superbly manicured fingers.18Kt & up has such a rich color.Whenever I met a client wearing 18K or better gold,I'd figure they were most likely frm India,Saudis, the East, etc.
We Americans have very little taste re gold.

komokwa The Truth is out there...!

if that's all the story behind it, cuz it's clearly a mans wedding band....it's worth the gold melt value.......that's all.

Wedding rings here were traditionally higher carat: not 9, but at least 14, more usually 18.
