    Hi All,
I picked up a bunch of these glasses today, tumblers (4"H) and water goblets (7"H). Ribs on the base, pressed design. I found some with similar design
sold under a brand called Bungalow Rose. Think they are by the same maker?
I apologize for the photos, this is the hardest glass I've tried to photograph, the design just doesn't come out well.
    any ideas appreciated
    thanks for looking:)

Here is the link to ones I found. Bumps on the bottom rather than ribs

I thought you photographed the design very well. I wouldn't be surprised if the same manufacturer who made your glasses also made the Wayfair Elyza pattern. One possibility is that your glasses were sold through a different retailer so a change in design was necessary so as not to compete directly with the Wayfair version. Regardless I don't think there's any real age to them based partly on the color, and given the state of the world today, I'd almost guarantee they were Chinese. All guesswork, of course, but as you're asking for any ideas...Hope someone comes along who recognizes them.

    thanks for the replies folks:)
thanks Don:) I agree, no age and made in China. While I like the colour and they are nice glasses, I'm surprised at the price they are asking for them. I guess I'm just used to buying second hand stuff and don't keep up with prices in stores:)

Purple glasses aren't the same quality as look-alikes. Big clue -- the "Libby lip."

The Portuguese manufacturer is Marinha Grande. They have a wonderful line based on old molds. However, even they have been knocked off by China.
