    Hello again,

There is this interesting and nice looking pearl necklace.

If anyone know more about these, I wonder if you can tell by the picture, could these be quality/valuable pearls maybe?

    Thank you in advance.

    Best regards!

Unlikely to be real given they're not knotted between each bead. They alos look very white and uniform. Try rubbing one gently on your teeth: how does it feel? And look at where the thread enters the bead. Can you see coating?

    Hi, thank you for reply.
Unfortunately I don't have this particular item by myself, so I can not perform those tests.
Some guy is selling them, and he have sent me this picture, he is asking 150$ for them, so I just wanted to check if someone maybe could help, and give some advice based on pictures.

Hum, Chinese freshwater cultured, ringed baroque shape... Weak luster... Not worth the 150 to my eyes...:(
You can find nice ones on EBay from Chinese sellers, be careful not to be confused with shell pearls! (Coated simulants).

Hopping on the not worth $150 bandwagon.
Plus, from the looks of that clasp, it's missing two strands.

The clasp doesn't look like real gold. And I can't believe he is passing off a 1 strand necklace on a clasp meant for 3 strands. Oy. Just confirming what everyone else has already said - I wouldn't give him $5 for that, let alone $150.

I'd pay $6-10 for them if I wanted the pearls to make something else out of. Not a dime more.
