What am I for?

    My ‘don’t know what it is but looks interesting’ purchase of the day!.
    Does it have a specific use other than the obvious of holding fluid of some sort?. For something that needed to be kept very secure as it’s got a button release top and side and the swing mechanism.

    Lol, that was going onto my finds post!! It was just the right size to rest the bottle on. (Yes, very pleased with that find, I thought it may be jade. Bought that and a silver& Amber ring for £1!.)
    Could be ink but would the corky bit not be stained?.
