Gold agate brooch

    Haven't posted in awhile so I thought this would be nice. Bought for $12, a very nice agate set in gold. The pin on the back was replaced unfortunately! I can only assume this would've been early 1900s?

    It looks a little like a Montana agate.

    Not an expert by any means but what I’ve found online does credit agate to those early 1900 periods.

    Usually its dendritic or moss agates that I’m seeing.

    I love how your piece shows more chalcedony.
