I know we have an ISO forum, but I don't think it likely gets a lot of traffic, so I thought I'd post this here. I am looking for 3 8mm real stone cabochons to finally repair this bracelet:

I am running into trouble finding an assorted lot of 3 different types of stones. All the ones on ebay are from China, and I can't even be sure what the heck I'd be getting as they have confusing titles like "Real Stone Cabochons Resin" (???), and the pictures they show are a mixture of smooth, faceted, flatbacks, and completely flat cabochons.

If I go to bead stores, they don't seem to sell an assortment; you have to buy 10 of this kind of stone and 10 of that kind of stone, etc.

I'm more than willing to pay someone for them, I just am having a hard time finding what I want online. Thanks to anyone who might be able to sell 3 of them to me!

ps. the last time I posted this, it was pointed out that even though the stones in the bracelet appear rounded in the back, that flatbacks should work just as well.

Tie, most of the cabs I see seem to be glass, which is what they used a lot on these bracelets. If you search for Czech glass cabs you may find the right ones.
Gorgeous bracelet, that goes without saying.
    Italian.;)

That reminds of the time I walked into an Italian Restaurant in Lithuania that served egg rolls & ketchup as our appetizer.;)

Thanks. I've used firemountain in the past and looked at their site today as well, but I run into the problem of having to buy 10 of this kind, 10 of that kind, etc. It just adds up to more than I wanted to spend on it. I'll take another looksee though; maybe I just missed a mixed lot.

Ok, smacking myself in the head. If I had slowed down for a second and thought about it, I would have realized that they were glass. I developed a one track mind for finding replacements for the "real" stones.

Anyways, thank you for the suggestion for the czech cabs; I think I'll have better luck finding them with that search term.

Here's one just like it minus a couple of the fob charms:

^^This one says German, so I'll have to pull out my loupe to see if it's marked.

I didn't even realize that it may be italian as AJ suggested, so I'm glad you asked that question.

A ChiAmericanLithu Staff-Harpo,Zeppo & Groucho-it was surreal (Dali was waxing his mustache w/ soy sauce)...to say nothing of the dog.

Those Etruscan style fobs were also sold separately (and still are), so Italian fobs could easily have ended up on a German bracelet.
I have seen them on all sorts of different style bracelets.

I guess it is like charm bracelets, you buy nice charms every time you have money, or maybe you are given them.

Thanks KSW. Just got a several pound haul from a thrift store, so maybe I'll come across something there as well.

If all else fails, check Mr Stones and see what they've got. I'd agree they're married to the chain.
