Attempting to identify makers mark for brass candleabra

Discussion in 'Metalware' started by Becky Barn Fresh, Aug 11, 2019.

I have bought a pair of candleabra which I think would have been for a church or at least to look like that.
I am not thinking they have any great age but would like to identify the maker, a crown with WD below.
Have exhausted all my google searches and thought someone may know.
    Many thanks

    Hi Becky!

    Welcome to Antiquers..........

I can't help, but for those who can, a picture of the item itself could be helpful.:cat:

Looking at the mark again, I think it is WJD, not WD. The "J" is combined with the left vertical of the "D"

  6. I think you may be right!! I'll take another look and thank you
