Featured German flute

This flute, as far as I’ve been able to determine, is a German wood and ivory “Simple System” flute made by J & A Lampferhof of Essen circa 1850. Does any of this seem correct? I must admit that I know almost nothing about flutes, and the above is merely the result of a little Googling. So, I have very little confidence in the results of my research...

Thanks for tagging me, and I might know a little about newer flutes - but this is older than the extent of my knowledge. I do see that an instrument by this company was exhibited as part of the "Great Exhibition of 1851" (scroll down: http://www.mcgee-flutes.com/1851 Exhibition.htm
(Their spelling with two Fs would appear to be incorrect). But that's all I've been able to find, so you probably know more than I do. Looks like a pretty nice vintage instrument, but I don't know what the current market is like for such flutes.

Lovely instrument; I used to play it as a kid, quite fanatic. Then I decided to learn piano - bad decision.
