this cute pitcher: royal vienna, Karlsbad or Edme Samson?

I don't know about those shield marks, but this pot had a lid.

 

What's the clue that makes you say that?

 

The shape. The way the design just ends. It's missing a lid.

 

Which part of it ''just ends''? not sure I see it

 

There should be a line around the rim, or a design. Its blank, unfinished. It looks OK but it's not what it's supposed to look like.

 

What's the size? Could be a milk jug. What's throwing us is the placement of the spout; typically, milk jug's spout would be at the top rim. It looks like it wants to be a chocolate pot.

 

Its merely 5.5" tall

 

Individual serving? Purely ornamental?

 

picked up a very similar pitcher/pot to this one in the same lot. That one has volkstedt markings. See thread below. Any additional comments, etc would be welcome.
