The elderly woman with the little dog is such a sweet picture! I suspect the baby picture is post-mortem.

Take a look at the part two of the concert programme.
It suddenly gets exciting with the 4th performance :hilarious::hilarious:
There are about 60 more photos but that gives you an idea!

Look at those hats! A quadruple wedding?

I suspect a few people went on to regret their extravagant purchase of front row tickets :nurse:

Now that I've looked closer I'm still thinking wedding, but just one couple - they are center front row - she in white, the women on either side of her are the bride's maids (their dresses are identical) and the woman on the left the matron of honor.

The Fireman & Sea Captain pics are good, only problem is they're all English (but not French thank heavens !). Seriously, very unique -to my eyes at least. With the Gutta Percha (thermoplastic) cover I'd think made in the 1840's-70's,but maybe later ?
PS-I guess an Dag of Poe or Lincoln was a 'bridge too far'. But never fear K,you did dang good !

That's my favourite. Very endearing, love the way she holds the dog to sit still during the long exposure time.

The album is in England, @bosko69. Why is it a disappointment that the subjects are English too?

    Isn’t it just!
A literal and metaphorical snapshot of a family.
In the shop they said that one of their volunteers brought it in, it was her family but her mother didn’t tell her who any of these people were before she died which is sad.

I would have bought this. You will have a very interesting time looking at the clothes, hats, hairstyles etc. Anyone riding on bicycles?
The family sitting down look so tiny!

I need to go through them all and look closely. There are some horses and horse and carriage. I do like the family sitting on the beach in their suits, dresses and hats. I wonder what they would think of todays dress or lack of it!
