I think it's from about 1910 till 1930 but it doesn't really fit in the German Jugendstil.

I asked a couple of "experts" here in Germany but nobody could really help me.

My question is now, could it be an English furniture aswell?

    Help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks and greetings from Germany.

Hi, Manni...an' Welcome Here! You'll find you're in good company!
Very nice pics...but aside from recognizing the art and attractiveness of your furniture, I'll be no help.
Others here will chime in, in due time. Good luck!

Hi wlwhittier, thank you for your answer. I really like this forum and glad to be here.

Mostly in German forums you don't get help just looking for mistakes and kick you out.

A handsome piece. A sort of cross between a dresser and a chest of drawers.
I think it is more towards the late end of your date estimate, and it doesn't strike me as German either.
I would look towards your western neighbours, Belgium, or possibly the Netherlands.

You have probably looked underneath the drawers for clues, did you find anything, any clues, even if it is just a code number?
Good thing you came here. People here may point out flaws, but we always try to help.

Thank you very much for you answer.

I can't find any clues. You're right, that would make it easier but I didn't know that there are sometimes clues underneath. Thank you for learning something new.

Belgium or Netherlands, good point to investigate not only British.

I found out that the wood should be thuja and rosewood.

I'd think a bit later as well, possibly into the 1940s. Beautiful rosewood!
