I don't understand your comments, would your advice have been different if you knew the op didn't own the bracelet? Their question was pretty straight forward, just asking about re-sizing and included photos

I wouldn't have countenanced any consideration of how or why to sell the item.....had I known the OP....did not yet own it....

So yes.....that lack of knowledge did indeed color my advice and the way in which it was given.

Even a straight forward question can elicit a myriad of answers when looking to help a member in their decision making....

Had the thread started off with....

"I don't have the bracelet. The seller wants $799 for it and I held off because it didn't fit ugh... I really like it for myself!"

......then yes.....my understanding of the situation.....and my suggestions .... would indeed have been different ......

and we would not be having this discussion...

( in hindsight......mislead , may have been too strong a word , but in my defence , the OP's comments made me believe that they owned the bracelet...and already had it in hand. How else does one fit 4 fingers thru a bracelet on their wrist....that they're not in possession of.......)

 

Well, if I may intervene, it is indeed difficult sometimes to express yourself clear enough for the others. I also make this mistake all the time, as I forget that the rest are not in my head and cannot see all details that I have there. It is normal, I think.
Not a big issue, for me at least, as any omission can always be clarified afterwards.

 

Thank you, evelyb30! Actually, now as you point it, I recall my grand-grand Ma being a tiny old lady, the same size like us, a bunch of cousins 5-7 years old. At that time of course no one of us even thought of this. Now it comes back as a memory.

Komo, a choker, yes, but it still has to have some space left and not squeezing my neck to the point of suffocation. But yes, actually the word "choker" literary means something to choke you
