I have an 8"x10" Metal Picture Frame. I would like to request the decades
that this was made for insurance claim purposes because my hot water
tank burst and they got thrown out in mitigation. However, my insurance
wants me to date everything that got lost in water damage. Mitigation took
this picture. Thank you for assistance in this request. Regards, Rob

That's pretty generic. I'd think 1960s. Let's see what others have to say.

Your insurance company sounds terrible btw - dates on everything ?? They are probably trying to a) make it as hard as possible to document everything and b) depreciate the value depending on the age.

I used to own an art gallery, and I've had a look at some of your listings and the frames are very generic, you could probably still buy most of these moldings today. So, don't make false declarations but if they want a guess you would be able to say anywhere before 2015 for most of them. Unless you have reason to think very old (like obviously aged, antique style or an heirloom you know of) go on the newer side as it might make your depreciation less. You don't need an individual expert opinion on each item such as these, just a good faith estimate.
