Featured Marble effect jug - 12cm

    I've drawn a complete blank on this one. Small 12cm jug with marble effect on side. I saw a marble effect Burslem teapot in a shop a while ago but that was a different pattern. This one has eluded me.

    Hmmm, that gilded banding has me a bit puzzled. Shape is fine and the body looks like it's marbled or agate type of ware. This is what I'm thinking: https://www.skinnerinc.com/auctions/2669M/lots/422 However, the banding and the marble decoration looks like it was applied afterwards. Interesting.

    Yes the marbling looks separate from the jug, almost like a sticker but it feels very much like part of it. Not quite sure how they achieved the effect. Thanks for the link
