Alpine China WBP Co - handpainted??

    The backstamp says "handpainted" but I'm pretty sure this is transferware. And is anybody even buying transferware these days? cover has a chip, too.

    Oh, my. Even with glasses and a magnifying glass I can't see. It's tough to get old.
