    @Any Jewelry - hair jewelry is one thing i don't know how to do. Wish I did. Losing a spouse leaves a big hole, and while having a lock of hair doesn't bring them back it's something to look at and smile.

    @Any Jewelry and @NewEngland, I too am so sorry for your recent losses....we also lost a young niece (young to US!) a month ago.....I'm the last in MY family and DH has one 92 y/o brother left.....and yes, as @Figtree3 put it, it IS a part of our journey, but one we can take joy in having been a part of, and keep the best memories close to our hearts. My condolences and many Blessings to both of you as well, as you find your peace, and I for one am thankful we do have this space to share such things with great 'virtual friends'! Hugs to you both..........Aqui...
