Curious as to if this is vintage Dior and if so what is pattern?

    Yes, I do think it is cotton.

    TY-that’s what I thought too. I’m tempted to make an offer and dye it but i’m afraid I’ll lose too much length with the damage. No clue if it’s still available.

    It may fare ok if it has been washed before (of course, no certain way to tell)... but if you do wash/dye it...find a large piece of styrofoam... cover with a sheet (pinned so it has no wrinkles. Finger press the piece as much as possible and then use liberal pinning to block it into shape. Be firm with the pins... angle them slightly away from the lace (as when it shrinks it would ride up the pins)... but don't pull so hard that it distorts as it dries.
