Featured Gauntlet Help Please

Hi All, I picked these up this morning and trying to narrow down where they are from if possible. I thought Northern Alberta? I don't think very old, they are lined with faux fur type material, stitching is good on them, look to be well made. Deer Skin? You can see bits of the ink in the design, former owner's name on the backs of them.
any info appreciated

That faux fur looks 1960s/1970s-ish to my eye.

not sure about that though......fur was easier to use back then..

I was thinking made within the last 25-30 years

 

We have a local mountain man club (pre 1949) . They make their own period clothing . At the yearly fair , I see many gauntlets and moccasins like yours for sale only they would most likely have real fur.
