I picked three sets of cufflinks up earlier. They all have marks but these are difficult to read. If they are in the original boxes they are more than likely vintage. The ones with the portcullis on appear to have a hall mark on where as the other two are just marked 925 and have makers marks on. I think.

The middle pair suggest Rennie Mackintosh design.

Thought I'd try and take some clearer images of the marks...

I have had the mini scope out and the portcullis ones say GPW 925 and then a symbol.. looks like a circle with cross hairs in it but hard to say as I have wobbly hands

    Probably an import mark.

Thanks. I have now changed my mind about the cross hairs and looks more like a lump. Sorry it's just not clear and my hand held scope is hard to hold at the same time as a light. And a camera. Its a bit like some french marks...

I think the KH97 mark could be Kit Heath. Some sites make reference to this

Thank you. Yes I found similar also. I think perhaps they are influenced by Mackintosh. The mark on the back of them doesn't seem to fit unfortunately.

The portcullis and Westminster Palace one (#1) is probably related to the UK parliament.

I managed to get this photo in decent daylight with my Nikon on macro. Last symbol is possibly a crown but it looks different from different angles.

Looks like it. The crown is Sheffield.
