I found this decanter with a slight gold tint and a swirl in the stopper and in the stem. One site said Mid Century Stuart Crystal, but I couldn't find a mark. I can't find the link anymore either. I saw a pair of the same decanters in clear crystal on Hindman Auctions, but again that was a dead link.

I think the stopper and stem are handblown. Otherwise, I don't know what to think except it is almost 16 inches high. I need help, please. Any kind is valuable.

Stuart of that age ought to be signed, though. Whitefriars did that shape but I think the colour was deeper.

And yes, air twist. I don’t think the cordial glasses are a match.

That's what I read too. I didn't give any credence to the site that named them Stuart for that reason. You think it might be British then?

Sellers reach to make a sale. I agree if they were a match, they should have the same stem in miniature.

It could be British, but it’s a shape that was also made by Scandinavian factories.

I don't know my British and European stuff. I very much appreciate your insights. It's already on the shelf. Now it has a place in the universe.
