Andrew tau photograph?

Hello I found this picture at my local thrift. I found the photographer and this link https://collections.shsmo.org/manuscripts/columbia/p0143

I'm wondering if I have a print of the photograph or a actual photograph? Do you think i should contact them to see if they would want it? Thank you for any info.

 

Do you know if prints were made of his works? Hard to tell from your photograph. You might want to open frame up and take a look; won't do it any harm.

Don't think that refers to a print made from a photograph. Rather a print of a photograph. From the internet: "Photographic printing is the process of producing a final image on paper for viewing, using chemically sensitized paper."

Here is a Google cached page with an article on Andy Tau that's a pretty interesting read. At the top of the page, there is a link to download the PDF that has a photo of him.

I used the cached text-only content because the link in the search results immediately downloads a PDF file.

 

Sometimes the back of photographic paper has the logo of the manufacturer (E.g. Kodak) repeated across it.

 

Looks like the road in winter just West of my house!
