2 Paintings - black folk art(?) signed Jonathan Greene = Jonathan Green? Painting signed Barrera?

These are 2 paintings I found at a local thrift along with a bunch of interesting posters. The one that looks like black folk art/naive is signed Jonathan Greene, but googling hi turned up a lot of Jonathan Green - could this be the same artist?

The 2nd one is almost a palette style & signed Barrera, but googling that turned up quite a few - any idea which Barrera is the artist of my painting?

This could well be your Jonathan Greene. Signature looks right (with a bit of evolution over the years.) You can ask him. He graduated from art school in 1982 so, if his, would be a student work.

Anyone have an idea which Barerra is the artist of the 2nd painting?
