Featured Carved Wood Frame Hindu?

Found these 2 carved wood frames with depictions that made think they came from a region that is primarily a Hindu religion. Measure 9 3/8" wide and are 17 5/8" tall. Was wondering if anyone might have an idea of origin and if the figures represent anyone in particular. So far i have not had any luck finding something similar. I know they were probably made for tourist trade, but they are still interesting. Thanks

 

It is inspired by mainland Southeast Asian figures. But not traditional.
They look a bit drunk, with those crowns at an angle.

They don’t look typically Indian or indeed have anything to indicate that they specifically relate to the Hindu religion so I wonder if they could be Indonesian or Thai.

 

Thai or Cambodian rather than Indonesian, but a bit of a fantasy outfit. They could even be based on Indian, you never know with fantasy styles.
Indonesia doesn't have those high pointy crowns.
