Cloisonne vase

I picked this up yesterday. Looks like Chinese cloisonne. I'm guessing 50s to 70s. Not seen one in this style before. The compartments all seem to be free style rather than repetitive geometric patterns. It's 25cm tall according to the aluminium ruler I also bought in a charity shop.

Ha ha. That was in a pub in York. I'm home now so I will have to phone them and tell them.

 

LOVELY COLORS!!!!! The area that I've hi-lighted/outlined in black..........it "Looks" there's some writing there......can YOU tell if it is? Maybe with a loupe??

A commercial pub-they've prob got 3 coats of urethane on their tables,so no sweat & bob's yer funkle !

 

I've had a look but can't see anything that is writing. I think it's just scratching on the base. Thanks for looking. Here are a couple more photos of the area in question if it helps any.
