Help with Mexican Silver Mark Please

Got some goodies this Monday, quite a few pieces of Mexican silver. Most I can find the marks for but I am wondering about this pin. If anyone can point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it

I tried searching for Eagle Mark 1 and this is all I could find on silvercollection's site:

I did a search for A.G.F. and found a few hits but none that IDed the maker.

I was wondering about the Eagle mark, it looks like a little, round piece soldered onto the back rather than a stamp like I'm used to seeing.

And do you the "54" would be for 1954?

Lovely design, Marie. I usually stay away from initial brooches, but this is very decorative as well.

Some Eagle marks are actually city marks. Eagle 1 is the city mark for Mexico City, so it is stamped on the works of numerous silversmiths.
Seems strange together with a Taxco stamp, but I've seen stranger things on jewellery.

Numbers were added to eagles in 1955, so no. Maybe the design number?
I do think this was made in the early years of numbered Eagles.
