Japanese ceremonial gourd ladle-age?

Online I found it described as an ‘Antique Hishaku wood Japanese tea ceremony ladle’ or maybe for water and washing hands at the temple.It’s 39cm in length.

    Is this really an antique? Doesn’t look very old and also looks unused to me. Is it more recent and someone just used more traditional construction methods? Thank you for any comments and keep well

    It is a common type of ladle/dipper, still made and used in southeast Asia. Made of coconut shell.
