Featured Chinese chairs.

I picked up some of these chairs a while back.They look like they have some age to them.Dont know what wood they are made of but on one of them there is a light patch of wood that you can see in picture on the back of the chair.
Also under this chair there is a piece of paper tacked to it when i bought them and am wondering can anyone decipher what it says.?

don't know....but looking for furniture in the 80's...those were all the rage....

 

It says 酸枝 on the note and google says it's just mahogany
The note includes an address (notably in traditional not simplified Chinese), name of the product which is mahogany chair and the word repair

Not sure about the wood in english though, if you put it into google translate it will say rosewood instead lol and some say ebony

 

Huh. Well, they're all hardwoods...if that counts for anything!
