All well produced and easy to follow for sure.

The monochromes are my favorite part of Chinese porcelain as well. I’m partial to the robins egg blue and oxblood stuff!

I’ve not found a better way to learn about them. I actually think he makes the best consistent antiques related videos out there. I love that he approaches it both from the collector and dealer perspective, because he is both. I think most of us here dabble in both so I don’t think I’ll be the only one to appreciate that aspect.

    I'm 40 years from having any expertise-but in a few well-produced hours he shared a lot.The proper glaze-edge,well-trimmed/finished foot,base and rim-the closeup photography's very well done.
I'd be a lot less fearful of buying a piece after watching- passed on an oxlood lamp six months that I'd buy now !

Keep watching. Entertaining, and in my experience the more I’ve watched the more the little bits have sunk in. I have a pair of oxblood lamps actually. They came with big chinoiserie silk or silkish shades. Pretty shades but too pretty for my taste. I’ve got to find some smaller slightly more masculine ones and they are likely going to go on my headboard.
