Featured Oil and pastel, confusing label

Hi folks

something i picked up in a chazza for a (wink) price

i quite like it, and comes with artist info on the back

not sure if theres been a confusion with the artist a long the way though

certainly has been with the title ?

when googling the artist, there seems a bit of a quality difference with his paintings

some look good



some look um........



think mines somewhere inbetween

Ah, OK. That one's very nice too. And I love workhorses.

 

Some of his work on the internet is more finished than others but, generally, it does seem to have an unfinished quality. The canvas was made by Lienzos Alcaraz of Spain, by way. (Lienzos means canvases.) And here's an example of his signature which would be easy to miss.

very interesting that the frame is from spain, which makes me think again there might have been crossed swords somewhere

theres no way the title of the painting can be right
