Former antique dealer (antique malls), got tired of getting ripped off. It allowed me to make extra $$ in my 20's and when I married someone with 3 kids, allowed me to be a stay at home mom.

I've been collecting antique buttons, associated clothing fasteners and antique/vintage jewelry for over 20 years. My first love was (okay, still is!) jewelry! Need to purge a bunch of it. Got old buttons? We can trade. LOL

I love doing research on items and love history. I collect old price guides on just about anything and everything (because I find them cheap). Writing is fun, and I do it when the mood strikes. I've recently gotten with doing a blog on buttons (see my signature under my posts or my Home Page info.). It keeps me out of the resale shops dragging home more stuff if I'm sitting at the computer writing. LOL!

I have a 10'x 10' storage unit full of stuff that I need to go through and re-home. Ugh! I also have a 10'x 10' utility room that is piled with treasures. Yeah, I need to get going with selling again.

I used to love to wander the alleys in my neighborhood as a kid and find treasures to drag home. Once I found a whole Barbie dream house with dolls and clothes (I was 11 years old). I've been hooked ever since.

I *heart* anything old, especially friends.
