Copper pot, better or not

    Hi folks

    got 2 of these that i've had for ages and they have never sold, so thought i'd try and zhuzh them up a bit (first time i've ever tried spelling zhuzh)

    the bottom part has a nice copper lustre so tried to keep that part as it would have polished out, so thought a good idea to tape it off and just do the top part

    thinking it looks better

    any thoughts or info appreciated

    I guess I would go ahead and polish the whole thing. Probably wouldn't say that if in the US but you are where polished copper is often appreciated. Half polished makes it look similar to modern decor ware from India.
