Looks like English letters " Ralba-1" in neck area and "JDR" on abdomen.

Firstly, the word is 'brooch.' Nevermind that it is pronounced broche -- might help for research purposes. :)

Secondly, I sincerely hope that thing was meant for a man. I cannot imagine just where on my person I could put it!

    Thanks for the correction.
I cannot imagine a man that could wear it and on what occasion.

Size is there and the work on this second one is more similar to mine, but mine doesnt have flat legs and the colour is nothing like gold. It has black patina charcteristic to silver, although I am not saying that it is silver.I cleaned most of patina off and it came off easily.
I also removed the remains of the broken pin because I found it dangerous.

No, a pwythweth autifak wooined!!!!!! You didn't??

Jes kiddin! Fine to remove patina on a cheap reproduction but if you think something is antique you almost always want to leave patina alone.

I knw. I read that no one cleans antique items, but this one isnt and I am not selling it.
I am not wearing it either, hence the needle's OFF.
Maybe I put its picture as my Avatar to ward off unfriendly forum members

I third or fourth the motion that it is a man. Believe the headdress is supposed to be a typical feather with eagle headdress of an important Aztec or Mayan. The eagle's head is standing up in the middle of the headdress. The head is looking straight forward. I can make out the eagles eyes and pointed beak. The man may be holding a plate as a tribute to one of their gods.

Instead of a something huge pierced through his nose, I thought at first he had chubby cheeks. :) I do now agree it is probably piercing his nose then again it might be a way to highlight his eyes by making them pronounced. On each side of his head are large disks that are earrings typically shown on Mayan and Aztec art. I don't have an answer to the boobies. Wonder if rather then boobies they might be some sort of necklace being depicted??? If they are suppose to be boobies, they certainly aren't symmetrical and are rather lopsided!

    Thanks for the insight Susan.
As you might have read, I have been riddiculed for trying to analise the figurine.
I dont know much really about Mayan or Aztec cultures or about jewlery at all so I can only provide photos to your liking and odd answer to your question and accept your conlusion at the end.
Figurine(no longer brooch), is not pretty, but I like it
