Featured Native American beaded purses, Montréal gazette backing.

Hi all!
A friend of mine found these in England.
He would like to know more about them and, if possible, which tribe.
Size: 16 by 13cm for one and the smaller other is 14 by 7.5cm.
The newspaper is the inside.

I'm no expert but I think maybe Iroquois. This site has some to look through and has a similar one they say is Mohawk (one of the Iroquois confederacy). I'm sure someone will know more.

This floral pattern is a Woodland design. Once you get out West, they used geometric patterns. Most of these are Iriquois. I have a nice collection that I started back in the 70s.
