This doll is marked Longface Jumeau

    I picked this up for $5.00 Usd. She is 16" tall. Wigh incised mark between the shoulder blades. Is she for real or a reproduction? I know the clothes look newer.

    Thirded. There's no age on that at all; she's more 1990s than 1890s.

    Thanks for all the great replies. I pretty much knew it was newer but the name through me off. There are no other marks or signatures so is it safe to list her as a Jumeau reproduction or copy?

    eBay has a number listed as Jumeau Long Face reproductions. (And one big giveaway is her synthetic hair.)

    Even as a reproduction they sell for much more than $5.00. Synthetic hair and all.

    Some do sell. Vintage now. And she's fully clothed and accessorized, all in good condition.
