Need help with this chair???

    Over here, this form is certainly known as a captain's chair, because it's the form used on naval vessels - that rounded top back rail is typical. There's some on the Victory and the Cutty Sark. More comonly though, the 19th C ones were sold as office chairs. We'd not call it a low back Windsor.

    Dining chairs with arms are carver chairs here, never a captain's chair.
