    Came in lot of silver jewelry I bought. I’m unconvinced it is silver, unless it’s pretty low grade. Kind of gives me an arts & crafts era vibe. Any thoughts on the where/when?     Looks like a cross between a Japanese tsuba and mon. That doesn't necessarily mean Japan, but it might be the inspiration.

    I agree with the 30s-ish hardware. Hammered pewter is a good guess, and I'd think hand made. Some guy in the proverbial shed did the work and didn't sign it.

    Yes, it does. I think it is quite nice. Tail end of the Arts and Crafts movement imo.
