Signed Vintage Vase

I work for a local charity and we received this as a donation and it appears to be vintage by the wear. It also seems to be hand painted and signed M.M. with a date on the bottom of '99. 1899? 1999? By the dust it looks older than 1999. Is there much value to these? Any information/identification is appreciated. Photos attached.

It is 8.5" tall and 7" wide.

 

Pretty! Given the décor theme, hobbyist painted, 1899 more likely than 1999.

Looks like a hobbyist painted piece 1899. It was the height of the hobby china painting.

Antique hobby painted china pieces values depend on the quality of the hand painting, the size and shape. And if the "blank" maker is collected. Marked Limoges blanks tend to add value.

 

What they said. Somebody's umpty-great grandma painted this in 1899 and did it well. The painting quality on these varies a lot, and someone with talent painted this one. It's a good size too - big enough to be a nice display piece, and small enough that collectors can find somewhere to put it.

 

It is very pretty. I feel good energy from it, too. It was loved. hehe
